Second time Nominee in the International Film Music Competition at the Zurich Film Festival - 2023
Carl's re-score for the short film Au revoir Jérôme - by Adam Sillard, Gabrielle Selnet and Chloé Farr - is nominated for the Best International Film Music award, in the 11th International Film Music Competition 2023, at the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF). President of the Jury was the Oscar-winning film composer Volker Bertelmann of the All Quiet on the Western Front, fame.

Mass for Ukraine and All Creatures on Earth - 2023
Carl is scoring a one-hour mass in eight movements, featuring vocal soloists, choir, pipe organ, strings and percussion. The live premiere in Sweden is tentatively scheduled for Spring 2024.

Member of the Board at the newly launched Scandinavian Opera - 2021
Carl is honored to join the board of the Scandinavian Opera in kicking off an annual opera festival in Southern Sweden.
During Summer 2022, the festival featured the world premiere of composer Martin Lindau´s opera Candidus.

President of the Jury was film composer Don Davis of The Matrix, Jurassic Park, and Behind Enemy Lines fame.
